Occupying part of Tanners' old and attractive Dickensian cellars,
our Cellars Shop is one of the most exciting, up-to-date and
efficient wine shops in the country. Over 1300 wines are on display
together with many national brands of spirits, beers and soft
drinks. We regularly check our competitors' prices to ensure that
we are as competitive as any superstore or wine warehouse.
Under every wine there is an informative card
showing the prices. For whites and rosés there is an indication of
how dry or sweet the wine is and an indication of when the wine
will be at its most enjoyable. In addition there are notes on
colour, bouquet, taste, grape variety, vineyard, wine-maker, awards
and points of general interest. There are always some wines open
for tasting.
This is the place to come for quick service.

Bank Holidays & Sundays
Tanners branches are closed on Bank Holidays
and Sundays except the four Sundays leading up to Christmas. This
stops us diluting the high quality of service we offer from Monday
to Saturday and helps us attract and retain the excellent calibre
of staff to which you have become accustomed.
Wyle Cop Cellars
The Wyle Cop premises with their Dickensian
atmosphere, used for the same purpose and little changed in the
last 160 years, contain fascinating collections of wine trade
artefacts, old books, pictures and photographs connected with this
family business.

Adrian Lloyd Depot

depot which distributes to trade outlets all over Shropshire and
Mid Wales. Mathew Evans runs the
Warehouse Shop and is assisted by Nick
Whittall and Gwenda Pritchard. The
warehouse is conveniently situated just off the A483 Newtown Road
on the Severn Farm Enterprise Park.
